RULES & REGULATIONS

The following rules are intended to provide an enjoyable family camping experience for you and your neighbors.

REGISTRATION: All campers, visitors and pets must be registered at the office upon arrival and prior to entering campground. Registered campers are responsible for ensuring their visitors, children and pets are supervised and following campground rules. Registered campers are liable for damages, behavior and claims of their visitors, children and pets.

CHECK IN: 2:00PM CHECK OUT: 12:00 PM 

Cancelation Policy: $2.00 plus 10% cancellation charge, no refund with in 10 days of the date reserved. 

GUESTS: Visitors are required to register at the office before entering park. A two-car maximum at each campsite and additional parking is available in overflow section next to entrance. Registered campers are responsible for paying all fees at the office. All visitors must leave the park by 11:00 PM. 

SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH: No ATV’s, UTV’s, or dirt bikes permitted on campgrounds. Only Managing Members are permitted to have recreational vehicles for work related activities. 

WASHING VEHICLES AND RVs IS NOT PERMITTED

QUIET HOURS: Sun – Thurs 10PM to 9AM and Fri-Sat 11PM to 9AM. Please turn down radios, TVs and refrain from loud noises during these times. Be aware that normal voices carry. If a neighbor camper is disturbing you please bring it to the attention of campground owners.

PLAYGROUND: is open between 9AM to 9PM. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

PETS: Owners will be liable for their pets at all times and will be liable should there be a claim. Pet liter should be cleaned up promptly. Please provide vaccination at check in or email to riverhurstpark@gmail.com. Pets should be leashed at all times. 

CAMPFIRES: All fires must be contained inside fire ring. Campfires should be knee high or below and not left unattended. Only paper and wood are to be burned in fire ring. Do not move fire rings or leave fires unattended.

FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, BOWS AND METAL DETECTORS ARE PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES.

FIREWOOD/TREES: Firewood may be available at the office. No cutting or gathering of trees or firewood is allowed in the campground or adjoining properties. Please do not drive any nails or screws into trees.

DUMP STATION AND GARBAGE: Dump Station available to dispose of sewage waste to campers staying more than one night. Garbage Disposal is available to all campers. Dumpster is located on the north side of the campground next to entrance. Campsite garbage ONLY. Please keep areas clean, water hoses and cables neatly wrapped up under camper.

ALCOHOL:  All liability, damages, claims are responsibility of registered campers.

UTILITIES: ONLY the unit assigned to a campsite may use the electric source. Plug-ins shall not exceed receptacles provided at the pedestal.

SWIMMING: NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

PAVILION: is only to be used by registered campers for events with permission by office. There is a rental fee.

RIVERHURST LLC d/b/a RIVERHURST PARK CAMPGROUND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE DUE TO WIND, WATER, FIRE, ICE, THEFT, ACCIDENT OR THE NEGLIGENCE OF YOU OR OTHERS. ANY ADULT OR CHILD PARTAKING IN BEHAVIOR THAT DOES NOT PROMOTE GOOD FAMILY VALUES, i.e. swearing, excessive drinking, drug use or violating any of the rules and regulations, WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CAMPGROUND WITH NO REFUND.
